Thai culture was predominately adopted from ancient Cambodia/Khmer. But Thais don't give credit to Cambodia. Loas also adopted Khmer culture when the first Laos King, Fa um married to the Khmer princess and sent away by the Khmer king to creat Loas state. Chinese culture is not much visible in Thailand. Thais adopt Khmer culture, music, dance, custumes, royal language and customs, food etc...

Hey Thaiforever, this is ancient Khmer culture and Thai culture is a derivative of Khmer. Be respectful when you speak to us. Thailand(Siam) is in trouble and will be in trouble when RAMA 9 leave this earth. This is our culture, we are the one that originate it. I am Khmer, from Thailand, not from Cambodia. You are so ignorant to history. Get some education. You are still living in a cave.

Thai, Isan and Lao, and Khmer Surin people have been neighbours for a thousand (and maybe a thousand more) years. Of course cultural exchange will take place, and continue to do so. Khmer culture was important, because Lao and Thai states were formed from the old Khmer empire, but we're forgetting that a lot of cultural similarities are because we all borrowed Lawa, Cham, Mon, Chinese, and Indian customs too. I don't hear Chinese people complaining we 'stole' their noodles and woks.

One of these day the khmer krom people will finish off the vietnamese and the khmer surin will finish off the thai,khmer kondal can go both way,the khmer people will take back what is rightfully our man,thailand and vietland all belong to khmer man,they live on borrowed land,they took without asking.
