She's right. I visited the Phi Phi islands last December and Maya Bay ( aka 'The Beach') is packed, unless you go first thing in the morning. Loh Dalum bay on Phi Phi Don is an absolutely gorgeous beach. The island has almost 100% recovered now.Annoying how she comments on "the sky" at 3:55, as if the tsunami was caused by the weather! Still, she redeems herself moments later with the classic line: "You survived? Obviously". Yes, it would appear so....

when i went to maya bay where the beach was filmed in '07 it wasnt busy wuth tourists it was amazing like paradise.
